Thank you to Linda Dodd and United Way of Eddy County for the COVID -19 funds. Your commitment to Grammy’s House Artesia Domestic Violence Shelter Inc is invaluable to our organization. When you support Grammy’s House, you are a part of something really special: an organization dedicated to making the lives of domestic violence victims and survivors a more beautiful and safer place to heal. Your belief in Grammy’s House as a valuable community asset helped us accomplish some very challenging tasks during 2020. Your funding allowed us to assist additional clients, in a hotel, once we had reached our COVID-19 capacity. The funds provided means for us to house families in a hotel, provide food and school related supplies for the children who were attending online schooling. Additionally, the funds helped us purchase extra PPE and cleaning supplies for the shelter as well as for the hotel clients. All in all, because of your kindhearted generosity, we are able to further our mission in bettering the lives of domestic violence victims and survivors who we serve in Artesia, NM.
